Until we began hosting our Gala in late summer, the Springtown Education Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament was our organization’s largest fundraising event. Typically hosted in the third week of June, proceeds from prior tournaments have helped fund hundreds of scholarships and grants. This year’s event will continue both traditions through an 8:00 AM Shotgun Start on June 18th at Cross Timbers Golf Course in Azle, Texas. In addition to awarding cash prizes for Tournament lowest scores, long-drive contests, and closest-to-the-hole contests, the Foundation’s Board of Directors provides a generous number of door prizes all contestants are eligible to win.
Now in its 23rd year, Springtown Education Foundation invites supporters of the District’s students and staff to register for our upcoming Golf Tournament through the links found below. Donuts and coffee will be available prior to teeing off, and lunch (including peach cobbler and Blue Bell ice cream) will immediately follow the four-person Scramble. Sponsorship forms are also available below, several levels of which include complimentary registration for a four-person team.
Tootie Hall will coordinate our Sponsorship Drive, and can be reached at 817-798-2008.
Mike Kelley will coordinate Individual and Team registrations, and can be reached via SEFTourney@gmail.com.
***This year’s entry fees are slightly discounted due to our Foundation’s recognition that Cross Timbers Golf Course has several holes that will be playing on temporary greens beginning in May. We are confident this circumstance will not negatively impact the opportunity for fun and fellowship our Tournament has provided for more than two decades.***
